MLM Distributor Rights Association, December Board Meeting just convened and there are some totally awesome new things going on.

First off, we have a new name, or at least a new branch that will "speak" to our Network Marketing industry in a global fashion as well as a professional trade organization for MLM ... it is official, voted on by the board ... Drum roll please ....

... has a nice ring to it, huh? Many variations were bandied about and the board decided that this seemed to be what the real DRA is all about! We will soon have a new website ... thanks to Mel Atwood and along with that, a new URL to go with it ... stay tuned for the launch of that!

Secondly, Sandy Cohen will now be the Executive Director for Conventions and RS Mallory will be Executive Director for Counseling Control. These two women have been integral in the growth of the DRA for several years now and somehow simply "slipped through the cracks" during the Convention in Las Vegas.

Another key item discussed was the expansion and promotion of our current membership base. Getting the word out to Network Marketing Professionals should be project number one! The larger our membership base, the more clout we will have in matters of importance.

MLM distributor Rights Association had their first "official" Tuesday Board of Directors meeting since the convention in Las Vegas ... Oh MY! The telephone lines were smokin' for almost 2 hours.

President Peter Mingils called the meeting to order and kept us all in line when things got crazy ... Marcie Cook gave us the finanacial scoop along with her ever present good humor and Chariman Rod, well Rod is our fearless leader!

Cecily Wright, the board secretary probably has writers cramp trying to keep up the pace!

There are some HUGE things that are in store for the DRA this coming year and I can't really spill the beans, but look forward to the NEW LOOK of our website from Mel Atwood along with the branding of a new name " Association of Network Marketing Professionals" !

Woo HOOO! Things are rocking and rolling and NOW is the time to get involved in this organization.
